Thanks for that Chief!!
What sort of travel rod do you use? I fish too (not nearly as much as I used to) and have often thought about getting a telescopic rod to take with me to the hills. _________________

I have a couple of travel rods. I have a Daiwa Lochmore 4 piece rod and a Daiwa Tri force six piece. I used the Tri Force last Saturday. May I recommend fly fishing in a loch that is known locally as the Gillaroo loch up in among the hills of Ben more {Assynt] Fantastic fishing and fantastic scenery _________________

Cheers for the advice.
I'm heading over to Jura for my annual fishing weekend next week (26th-28th May) but can use my normal rod there. Superb fishing for wild brownies.
