Struggled to come up with a new subject, so rather than picking something obscure decided to go back to where the comp began to one of my favourite subjects, and so this weeks subject is Lochs

So far we've had:

A solitary Graham

Photo Contest Rules

One photo per person to be posted before 1300hrs Sunday. When posting your photo, please quote the previous post then add your photo to it (this keeps all the photos together in one string). Deviation will be punished.

QUITE OLD NEW RULE - Please edit the photos out of your entry after someone else has quoted them. This new rule will hopefully keep things tidier.

Please add your name/nickname to your photo

In the event of anyone posting more than 1 photo, their first photo should be the only one considered when voting. They should be roundly castigated by all and sundry, then thrown into the pond. Their exit will be the following week's topic.

Votes to be cast between 1300hrs Sunday and 1900hrs Tuesday evening.

To vote you award:

5 pts to the best photo
4 pts to second
3 pts third
2 pts fourth
1 pt- fifth

In the event of a tie, then all the single point votes will be subtracted from the joint winners' totals, after which if it's still a tie, then all the 2 point votes will be subtracted, and so on. In the unlikely event it's still a tie when the 3's and 4's points have been subtracted, then the previous winner posts again. Both tied contestants will be bound together and forced to do a 3-legged ascent of Sgurr nan Gillean naked.

After 1900hrs Tuesday evening the winner starts a new thread titled (Photo Contest - their theme), then copies these rules and adds their photo to it to start the next round.

PLEASE NOTE The winner who posts his/her photo(s) is a non-competitor in the round, but can of course vote.

Nice photo Simon. You've confirmed the practicality of a recent idea for a wild camp.

You going to camp up by Lochan Uaine? A steep scrambel up to the loch or a steep one down. Either way. a steep scramble!

Though 2 guys I met on Angel's Point had come up via the loachan from the Lairig Ghru.
