TRIP REPORT: Show trip details

I will not write too much.

Our saturday's trip to Ben Nevis.
First view of a Carn Dearg Meadhonach Ridge.

These guys slept in the valley in tents.

Scrambling (well, in these conditions not quite) via the ridge.

First view of the north face of BN. I've been there three times already but never seen it before.

View of Fort William direction:

and opposite side:

Carn Mor Dearg Arete:

and Ring of Steall:

In the middle - the Tower Ridge:

On the top at last!

And some pictures from the Tower Ridge. I've done it in this summer, but winter seems to be much more funny...

See you on a trail.

fantastic pictures! Smile

its strange to look at this whilst at this moment news reports are coming in on TV of climbers being swepted off Ben Nevis and climbers dead in Glencoe. Then you look at these set of pictures and ask yourself where would you rather be than on that ridge.

Awesome pictures - no need to say anything - particularly liked the picture "on the other side" towards Glencoe.
